SPURR Announces RFP for Solar and Energy Storage

The School Project for Utility Rate Reduction (SPURR) announces a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking qualified vendors to submit responsive proposals for solar photovoltaic and energy storage projects. SPURR is a CA joint powers authority with >300 member public school and community college districts and county offices of ed. The RFP is part of SPURR’s ongoing Renewable Energy Aggregated Procurement (REAP) Program.

Pricing, terms, and conditions of an award pursuant to RFP will be made available to “Eligible Entities,” defined in the RFP, who may choose for themselves whether to purchase goods or services using an award made pursuant to this RFP. To date, the REAP Program has been used to contract for >265 MW-DC of solar power generation and >80 MWh of energy storage projects.   • Mandatory Site Walks: Fri Apr 26, 2024
  • Vendor Deadline to Submit Questions: Thu May 9, 2024
  • Vendor Deadline to Submit Proposals: Thu Jun 6, 2024

SPURR reserves the right to revise Key Dates and other provisions of the RFP.
